Ginuwine is a doting grandpa. When his stepdaughter, Cypress Soleil Lee, welcomed her first child in 2020, he shared a photo of him proudly holding his granddaughter and captioned," My new Gb ....Sage Lotus ...I love when there're this age and quite and so precious. Welcome to the World, baby girl. [sic]"

Cypress' mother, Solé, who is Ginuwine's ex-wife, also shared a photo of the newborn baby alongside a sweet caption. Ginuwine recently celebrated the arrival of another granddaughter, born to his son a few months ago.

The RnB singer has a total of nine children. He shares two children named Story Asanda Lumpkin and Dream Sarae Lumpkin from his previous marriage to Solé. Additionally, he has five other children from previous relationships.

Solé also has two children named Cyprus and Dejan from her previous relationship, and Ginuwine considers them his children even though they separated. During his children's younger years, Ginuwine openly acknowledged that he had limited time with them as he was frequently on the road due to his career commitments.

While he found fatherhood to be relatively easy, his busy schedule and constant traveling meant that he could not dedicate as much time to his children as he desired. It was a challenge for him to balance his career aspirations with his responsibilities as a father.
