Sarah Michelle Gellar Posts Photos of Rarely-Seen Kids from Family Trip in Italy

Sarah Michelle Gellar's kids are exploring Italy, and the star is taking her following on the journey. On Stories, she shared photos of her children with their faces obscured in Florence.

"Siamo arrivati (let the Prinze family Italian adventure begin) #florence," Sarah Michelle Gellar wrote on July 18, 2023, with a selfie with her husband of 20 years, Freddie Prinze Jr.

The "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" actress kept her Instagram Stories updated with photos of the family's outings around Florence. Her two children Charlotte Prinze and Rocky Prinze, are always photographed from behind or have their faces covered with a green heart.

One of the rare occasions that Sarah posted a photo of Charlotte's face was with Taylor Swift after a May 20, 2018, concert. She thanked the singer for being so kind to her daughter.

Last October, the actress spoke about the Prinze household's strict no-social media policy for the children. "They're allowed to look sometimes when it's our phones.," she conceded:

"Sometimes, our kids will be like, 'You guys are the strictest household!' But I say, 'Yes, but everyone still wants to come here!'"

Charlotte's interest in acting spiked Sarah's drive to pursue roles again with "Do Revenge" and the "Wolfpack" series, where she also served as producer.

Her daughter was on set with both projects, something she will never deny her child, but she turned down suggestions of even a walk-on role for Charlotte from her collaborators.

"But she's just not going on camera while she's living under our roof," she explained. "There'll be different expectations for her, so she needs to learn everything there is first."

Sarah Michelle Gellar draws from her own experience as a former child star. She also spoke to her "Do Revenge" co-star Maya Hawke, Uma Thurman, and Ethan Hawke's daughter about raising a Hollywood child.
