Amy Schumer is a known American comedian, but sometimes fans no longer know the difference between her joke and personal opinion.

Recently, Schumer took a jab at Emily Blunt after watching her performance in Christopher Nolan's latest film, "Oppenheimer."

In an Instagram post, Schumer revealed she enjoyed watching the films "Oppenheimer" and "Barbie," which both premiered on the same weekend. However, she added:

"But I think I should have played Emily Blunt's role. Do better, Hollywood."

Some social media users called out Schumer in the comments section. "Do you do this on purpose for shock value," one person said. Meanwhile, another person disagreed with the comedian and said the "Oppenheimer" team chose a great actor instead of her.

Meanwhile, other fans would rather see Schummer as Barbie. "I think you were better suited for Margot Robbie's role," one comment read. Schumer was supposed to star in the "Barbie" film but dropped out because of conflicting schedules.

Later, Amy changed her reason for turning away from her "Barbie" role, saying it was due to differences in creative direction. "They definitely didn't want to do it the way I wanted to do it, the only way I was interested in doing it," Schumer said.

Meanwhile, Blunt portrayed Kitty Oppenheimer, J Robert Oppenheimer's wife, in the movie. Interestingly, Schumer previously took a swipe at Blunt's marriage to John Krasinski. In a now-deleted Instagram post, the comedian reportedly claimed the couple's marriage was only a publicity stunt.

Blunt and Krasinski are one of Hollywood's sought-after couples. They share two daughters, Hazel Krasinski, and Violet Krasinski.
