In February 2023, Danielle Campbell posted a long thread of photos depicting happy memories with her beau, Colin Woodell. The pictures showed the lovebirds enjoying quality time on date nights, relaxing outdoors and indoors, with their adorable pup tagging along now and then.

Danielle Campbell and Colin Woodell had celebrated their fifth anniversary as a couple and appeared as in love as ever. The post was only a glimpse into their romance, as they've kept it hidden from the spotlight.

Despite being together for so long, the pair have also kept their red-carpet appearances minimal. They both also work in the entertainment industry, and while Woodell has been cementing his name in Hollywood, so has his partner, who is a star in her own right.

She landed her first film role in the 2008 drama "The Poker Face," opposite Jennifer Lawrence and Chloe Grace Moretz. Two years later, she starred as Jessica Olson in Disney's "Starstruck" and had a minor role on the network's kids' show "Zeke and Luther."

In 2012, she played Cindy in Tyler Perry's "Madea's Witness Protection," alongside Romeo Miller. The following year, Campbell landed the role that would become her staple as Davina Claire in the fantasy series "The Originals," opposite Joseph Morgan.

In 2022, after over a decade onscreen, Campbell made her Broadway debut, playing Judy in the 1950s play "Trouble in Mind." The young actress was ecstatic to have been part of the show, which left her with a sense of pride she "never knew" existed.

One of Campbell's earliest posts on her Instagram with Woodell dates back to 2019. It was a grainy black-and-white photo of her sitting on Woodell's lap, laughing as he kissed her slightly exposed back.

"Truly grateful for this one [...]," she captioned the post. Two years later, Woodell posted a short and sweet birthday tribute to Campbell, writing, "Happy birthday to my favorite human," alongside a photo of her staring back at him. Apart from these online glimpses, however, little else is known about their romance.

Colin Woodell on Modern Dating

Speaking about his film, "I Love America," where he stars as John, who finds love on a dating app, Woodell touched briefly on the current dating culture. The actor noted the stigma around dating apps, where people connect, "hook up," and "move on with their lives."

But Woodell believes in taking a leap of faith when seeking romantic companionship, even on dating sites. "You have to put the work in. You have to be vulnerable. You have to try your hardest," he said, adding that one has to be willing to let their own layers unravel beyond getting to know a potential partner.
