Grammy-Award winning singer, Lizzo has shared a touching message amid lawsuits from her dancers. The singer and rapper is being sued for sexual harassment and body shaming.
Lizzo has taken to her Instagram to share a message about true love. The singer posted several photos dressed in a pink outfit alongside a touching caption. She wrote, "🎶True love ain't somethin [sic] that u buy yourself.. true love finally happens when u by yourself🎶."
The recent post comes following the ongoing legal cases involving Lizzo. According to reports, the renowned "Truth Hurts" singer is facing allegations on different accounts.
Three former dancers who previously worked with Lizzo have taken legal action against the singer, accusing her of sexual and racial harassment as well as creating a toxic work environment.
The lawsuit, filed on Tuesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, lists Lizzo, whose real name is Melissa Jefferson, her production company Big Grrrl Big Touring, Inc., and the dance team captain Shirlene Quigley as defendants.
According to the reported court documents, the dancers Arianna Davis, Noel Rodriguez, and Crystal Williams claimed that Lizzo pressured them to touch nude performers while at a club in Amsterdam and subjected them to body shaming, leading to their distressing experiences while working with her.
