Sandra Bullock & Bryan Randall’s Relationship Was Reportedly on the Rocks Just before His Death

Movie star Sandra Bullock's longtime love, Bryan Randall, has suddenly died. Per reports, he passed away over the weekend following a long battle with a disease.
Randall's family released an official statement revealing when he passed and the cause of death, adding he had decided to keep his health battle private.

"It is with great sadness that we share that on August 5, Bryan Randall passed away peacefully after a three-year battle with ALS," Randall's family disclosed. They shared they honored his wish to keep his ALS battle a secret and thanked the doctors and nurses who helped him through his battle.
The photographer had been in a relationship with Bullock for seven years. The pair not only hit it off, but Randall was also quick to bond with Bullock's kids.
The actress has two children, a son named Louis, whom she adopted in 2010, and a daughter named Laila, whom she also adopted in 2015, around the same time as her fairly new relationship with Randall.

During a "Red Table Talk" appearance in December 2021, hosted by Jada-Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith, and Adrienne Banfield-Norris, Bullock was asked about the dynamics between her kids and her now-deceased boyfriend.
"A saint. He has evolved in a level that is not human," the proud mother of two revealed. When asked whether Randall was involved in making decisions concerning the kids, she said, "Hell, no."
Bullock shared the Oregon native was thrilled after she told him that she would be bringing another child home despite it being soon after they started dating. She also stated that, naturally, Randall was "scared" about having another addition, but he managed to be there for her. Bullock called her partner a "beautiful human being, adding:
"He's the example that I would want my children to have."

Bullock and Randall started dating in 2015. The couple met when she hired him to take pictures at her son Louis' birthday. She was previously married entrepreneur Jesse James from 2005 to 2010 and filed for divorce after five years of marriage. However, Bullock gushed about Randall once:
“[…] I found the love of my life. We share two beautiful children – three children, [including] his older daughter [Skylar}. It’s the best thing ever."
Bullock & Randall's Relationship Had Hit Rock Bottom
Although Bullock has hinted that she was in a happy relationship with Randall, an insider recently revealed that their romance had hit rock bottom. The couple reportedly took a break from each other in 2022. However, "The Proposal" star was hopeful that there would be a reconciliation and that they would eventually work past their issues.
Still, according to the source, there was a slight chance that the pair would be able to salvage their relationship. The insider added that the two had remained cordial amid their on-and-off romance. Bullock and Randall had kept their relationship going over the years while being low-key.

In November 2017, a friend of the Academy Award winner talked about the couple's relationship. According to the pal, Randall always opened the door for his famous girlfriend, even getting her a jacket and helping her put it on.
"Bryan takes care of her in all of the right ways. She feels loved and appreciated all of the time," said a friend at the time. Two years later, in June 2019, another insider revealed Bullock was smitten by Randall and was grateful for what they had together, adding she was "content" with their romance and was not ready for marriage.
