In July, A TikTok page, Madonna Culture, shared a short clip of them leaving what appeared to be a boxing match together.

The page captioned the video, "The Queen is Back," and sarcastically referred to Popper as Madonna's "friend."

Madonna, who just turned 65, wore an all-black outfit with a checkered lumber jacket and glasses. Popper was less discreet, with no glasses and wrapped like a typical boxer.

In 2020, Popper opened a small gym where he and other coaches taught individuals of all ages how to box. But it took him a while to find his niche.

Popper has an extensive history in the sports world. He played football at University as a defensive lineman but could not make the NFL, only to later go into insurance, according to his LinkedIn profile.

In March of this year, it was reported that Madonna and Popper were in a romantic relationship. Just over a month later, on April 17, 2023, the singer posted a video of her enjoying a meal with her family.

Before this Instagram video of the family, the two were seen again via Madonna's Instagram. She confirmed the relationship in March via an Instagram Story of her and her beau kissing in black and donning masks.

Criticism Arises about Madonna and Popper’s Age Gap

Not everyone has responded positively to Madonna, and she said the "Toy Boy"'s age gap. In an article by the Daily Mail shared on Facebook about the couple, there was a flurry of negative comments. One individual wrote:

"Pippy Longstocking and her boy toy Popper out on the town. 😂😂😂😂 Honey, you are 64, act like it… and the boys toy? He's a baby just let him be he doesn't know any better."

One individual expressed disgust stating that Popper could be her grandchild. Another said that her alleged plastic surgery permits her to date a man younger than her. Another commenter jokingly asked if Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson are back together.

The critical comments kept coming in, with one person alleging that Popper wanted her money. Another individual, referring to Madonna's daughter, Lourdes Leon, stated:
