Movie watchers and enthusiasts alike who enjoy scandalous teen thrillers are likely to be entertained by these five movies like "Cruel Intentions," most of which became hits in the '90s.

It has been over two decades since "Cruel Intentions" premiered, yet the film adaptation of "Les Liaisons Dangereuses" remains popular among movie watchers and fans alike.

Set in Manhattan, New York, manipulative and cunning step-siblings Kathryn Merteuil and Sebastian Valmont attempt to inflict harm on an innocent girl to fulfill their desires.

"Cruel Intentions" is a classic film that became a hit in the '90s. The movie stars Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillippe, Reese Witherspoon, Selma Blair, Louise Fletcher, and Joshua Jackson, among other stars.

'The Crush'

When esteemed journalist Nick Eliot moves into the guesthouse of the Forresters, a wealthy family, his life worsens. One of the family's kids, 14-year-old Adrianne Forrester, develops an infatuation with him. However, the seemingly innocent teen's harmless crush turns into an obsession with disturbing consequences.

'Poison Ivy'

Ivy made herself known as an innocent and sweet young girl befriending Sylvie, the introverted teen daughter of a wealthy family. While Ivy fits herself into the family quite well, it is revealed that her intentions are nothing good. Ivy uses manipulation and seduction to get what she wants.

'Jawbreaker'

A clique of popular high school students find their lives spiraling down after a birthday prank goes fatally wrong. Soon, they are caught in a web of lies to cover their crime and maintain their social status.

Although "Jawbreaker" wasn't well-received during its premiere, more moviegoers learned to like and appreciate it as time passed. It has since become among the most well-loved movies of its time.

The 1999 film, "Jawbreaker," is a dark comedy starring Rose McGowan, Rebecca Gayheart, Julie Benz, Alexandra Adi, Tatyana Ali, and many more talented actresses.
