Michael Cooke Kendrick and his sister, actress and author Anna Kendrick, share a hilarious sibling dynamic. The pair were born to parents who encouraged their artistic inclinations, and they each gave their shot in the industry.

He only returned onscreen eleven years later when he appeared on an episode of "Celebrity Ghost Stories" and "Celebrity Close Calls." Michael hasn't appeared in any other roles since. At the moment, it's unknown what he does in between hiatuses.

Although his parents led more conventional careers — his mother worked in finance, and his dad taught History before also becoming one — they nurtured his and Anna's artistic interests. Their father even had his own as a man who enjoyed theater and had "eclectic" taste in music.

It's unknown when Michael married, but there was a woman named Liza Jane, whom he frequently posted on his Instagram, usually captioning, "My wife." The earliest photo of her he shared is from 2012, followed by another in 2014.

The following year, Michael posted a photo of Liza aiming a gun at what appeared to be an open field shooting range. The last picture of Liza on his timeline is from 2015, when the couple went to Disney Land.

Michael has stayed somewhat active on the platform, but whether he and Liza are still together is unknown. His sister, on the other hand, was rumored to be dating Bill Hader (formerly married to Maggie Carey) in January 2022.

He accompanied her once more to the Tony Awards in 2017. The year before, Anna had an upcoming tour for her memoir, "Scrappy Little Nobody." Michael was excited for his sister and tried showing her support with a "sort of buckle down pep talk," but they both ruined the moment.

Anna first replied to Michael's supportive text, saying, "Yeah. [Expletive] you for this pep talk. I hate you," to which he responded, "Hey, I said I liked the book, ok? I still do not see why groups of people want to hang out with you."

Birthdays are another special occasion that calls for roasts, as Michael wrote for Anna in 2018, "Happy birthday to my sister @annakendrick47, you've always been there for me, and I'll always be there for you. Also, you are the lamest, and you're older than Moses. Love you, dude." Anna was turning 33.
