Tina Mahina Is Barry Williams’ ‘Fierce’ Wife He Married Late in Life

Tina Mahina became Barry Williams' third wife in the late 2010s, and the couple has been living in marital bliss since. Like her husband, she has an extensive background in entertainment and now sings with the actor in a band.

In November 2016, Barry Williams posted a photo of himself with his arm wrapped around a beautiful woman's waist. Donning a maroon button-down shirt and black trousers, he smiled at the camera as the lady's arm rested on his chest.

The woman wore a patterned red, black, and brown top with jeans and black knee-high boots. With her hair tied in a low ponytail swooped to the side, she, too, smiled at the camera, and for good reason.

"4 minutes before this sunset photo was taken, I got down on one knee with a proposal. She said YES!!!" Barry excitedly captioned the picture. The longtime Hollywood star had become engaged to Tina Mahina, who he had been dating since 2013.

Williams divulged their wedding details the following year, sharing that their nuptials would take place that July at their home in Branson, Missouri. Indeed, they did, with Mahina in her early 50s and Williams in his early 60s.

Mahina grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma. When she was eight, she took hula dancing classes and began working as a professional hula dancer with the Laughing Kahunas following their visit to the Copa Hilton Club in 1975.

After the group disbanded, Mahina continued hula dancing, performing at various events, including summer luaus for oil companies. It's unknown if she still takes dancing gigs, but she has toured with The Nashville Network and RFD-TV, working behind the scenes and on stage.

Since marrying Williams, Mahina has received questions about whether she ever crushed on the Brady boys in her younger days. Although she watched the old comedy series and "loved it," her "jam" was "Bonanza," a western series starring late actors Michael Landon and Dan Blocker.

Blocker played Hoss Cartwright, and when Mahina reveals that he was the one she fancied, she says people "freak out." She met Williams through a mutual friend and worked for him in the wardrobe department when he performed onstage.

Although they married in 2017, the couple only enjoyed their honeymoon in Mexico in December 2022, a few months after their fifth wedding anniversary. Mahina keeps a low profile, but her husband continually gushes about her on social media. Alongside a candid photo of her on X (formerly Twitter), he wrote:

A former band member of Shrunken Heads, Mahina is one of the vocalists and the percussionist for Barry Williams and The Traveliers, alongside guitarist Mike Ristau and her husband. The band performed in Tulsa in May 2022 and returned to the city in May 2023.

In addition to their gigs, Mahina and Williams make public appearances at prestigious events. In 2019, Mahina accompanied her husband to the "A Very Brady Renovation" TV show premiere alongside his former co-stars Christopher Knight and Maureen McCormick.

In 2022, the couple walked the red carpet at the 2022 Primetime Emmys. But, when it's just the two of them, Mahina and Williams celebrate their love for each other. In April, Williams wished his wife a happy birthday, sharing a snap from the intimate occasion.
