Dashiell Cooper Follows in Dad's Footsteps as a Band Frontman – Meet Alice Cooper's Son

Dashiell Cooper, Alice Cooper's son, got his record deal on advice from his Hall of Famer dad: always be prepared. He and his partner have been through a lot to grow their family.

Dashiell "Dash" Cooper is a rock star based in Phoenix, Arizona, and the progeny of Alice Cooper and Sheryl Cooper. He is a dad of three with his wife, Morgan Cooper.

His band, Co-Op, has performed with his dad, Mötley Crüe, Korn, and The Hollywood Vampires, among others. The elder Cooper keeps a respectful distance from his son's career.

Alice Cooper's Son Is a Musician in His Own Right

Alice is available as a sounding board for his rocker son but never meddles. "He's always there to help. But he always does it from a distance. He's not inserting himself in the band," Dash said in 2018:

"I think he wants us to find our way, and I respect that about him. But he's always there if we have a question."

Dash formed the Phoenix rock band CO-OP in 2014, having previously been in Runaway Phoenix. His voice mixes "a classic rock undertone with the strength and grit of modern rock," per their website.

Alice supplied vocals for "Old Scratch," and his The Hollywood Vampires bandmate Joe Perry jumped on "Howl" on guitar on CO-OP's eponymous full-length album.

Dash introduced the twins, his "little turkeys," over Thanksgiving 2014.

The band has helped raise funds for Alice Cooper's Solid Rock Teen Center, which provides free classes in the arts like music, art, dance, and photography.

Dashiell Cooper and His Wife, Morgan Cooper, Have a Beautiful Family

Dash and Morgan announced in mid-2014 that they expected a set of boys. After a difficult pregnancy and extended bed rest for Morgan, the twins, Falcon Cooper and Rio Cooper, were born that November.

Their third son, Rexington King Cooper, entered the fold in July 2018. In January 2020, Morgan had a miscarriage of a boy they named Milo Oliver. She has shared her grief journey on significant days, like on what would have been his birthday, July 4.

Currently, a cosmetology student, Morgan has posted some hair transformations he has facilitated on clients and friends. The devout Christian wrote in her Instagram profile, "Animal lover. Fun seeker. Cat finder."

Dashiell Cooper's Family Life

Sheryl Cooper's son Dash introduced the twins, his "little turkeys," over Thanksgiving 2014. Falcon and Rio are adorably decked out in matching hats with a boldly embroidered bird. The rocker has continued to dote on his boys, writing in 2020:

"Happy Sons Day to my 3 little dudes! I love you guys beyond measure! Thanks for letting me get to be your Dad. :)"

He cherishes his time with the kids while they are young. He shared a photo of a halo-haired Rexington King the week before his 3rd birthday, either asleep on his shoulder or hugging him in mid-2021, captioned, "I'm going to enjoy this as long as you'll let me!"

Two years on, in 2023, Rexington King still enjoyed a cuddle from his dad, judging from the photo Dash posted from the toddler's fifth birthday with a Sonic The Hedgehog theme.
