The location where their lavish vow renewal ceremony took place is the same destination where their wedding happened on September 14, 2013. Teigen, Legend, and their A-lister friends dined at Villa Pizzo to kick off the festivities.

According to a source who attended the event, Teigen and Legend arrived by boat to the romantic setting. Following the brunch, the main event took place, and after Legend's brief speech and dinner, guests enjoyed the remainder of the evening dancing and indulging in the lakeside bar. Of the event, the same source gushed that there were "flowers everywhere. It's been a very elegant, very classic event."

Two days ago, the 37-year-old model took to Instagram to post a series of photos of herself posing at the venue. Teigen stunned in a short, detailed metallic dress with matching heels as she leaned out a window to wave at guests. The last image she posted showed a text exchange between her and her friend.

Interestingly, the texts between Teigen and her friend showed that initially, Teigen did not want the event to be considered a vow renewal. While her friend assumed it was, Teigen expressed:

"Like we do NOT want a cow renewal it's so corny but that's what it's sounding like isn't it LOL."

Despite the backlash and harsh criticism over Teigen's choice of attire for her and her husband's special day, the couple, their friends, and family had a joyous time at the picturesque venue.

Legend looked dapper in a white and black suit paired with a bow tie. Later, Teigen changed into another Zuhair Murad Couture black dress. This one had a long floral train and a white bodice peeking out by her chest. Her hair was fashioned into a low bun, and she wore a black headband.

When fans saw pictures of Teigen in the second black dress she wore for the evening, many expressed confusion over her look. Some pointed out that the dress looked weird and funeral-esque:

Back then, Teigen was dressed in all white, which comes as a juxtaposition to the all-black outfits she wore at her vow renewal. The bride wore a beautiful strapless wedding gown designed by Vera Wang for the momentous occasion.

The ivory dress left her back exposed and was fitted with a tulle skirt and embroidered details in the shapes of hand-cut petals. In an exclusive interview about her wedding, Teigen described her gown as:

"kind of [having] a sexier feel at the top, like a swimsuit, so I have to get my body ready. I have to buckle down."

For the reception, Teigen wore another Vera Wang original. The strapless gown had a sheared organza full skirt, and the bodice was micro-pleated.
