David, Robert, and Florence Willis are Bruce Willis' siblings. Their mom was German, and their dad was American. While Bruce Willis is a successful and celebrated actor, his brother David Willis has also created a name for himself as an accomplished producer.

Although there's less information about the actor's sister, Florence Willis, she also has credits listed on IMDb. The actor's brother, Robert Willis, died 2001 after battling cancer.

David Willis Has Produced Award-Winning Movies

Bruce's brother, David, is an accomplished producer with several credits. He is best known for his work in the 2013 action thriller film, "A Good Day to Die Hard," the action crime movie, "Hostage," the adventure comedy film, "Hudson Hawk," and the action thriller film "Die Hard: With a Vengeance," which starred Bruce, Samuel L. Jackson, and Jeremy Irons.

His other projects include "Bandits," "The Kid," "The Whole Ten Yards," "Bruno the Kid," "Live Wire," and "Color of Night," among others. Although David has primarily built his career behind the scenes, he does hold one acting credit for his role in the comedy film "The Return of Bruno."

While less is known about Bruce's sister, Florence Willis, she has two credits listed on IMDb. She starred in the short documentary "The Dormant Language of Love." Also, she participated in "Bruce Willis: Why the Legend Never Dies," a documentary that centers on Bruce's life and career.

Bruce Honored His Late Brother, Robert Willis, with a Touching Tribute

Bruce's brother, Robert, died in 2001, aged 42. He was a website designer and was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He tragically passed away just six weeks later.

The company allegedly faced a $4 million lawsuit for breaching a contract.

Bruce fondly remembered his brother's remarkable courage in such a dreadful situation. He recounted how Robert, despite his condition, expressed that he was not afraid and had come to terms with his fate. Bruce also remembered Robert's words of encouragement, urging them not to grieve too hard.

The actor reportedly tried to contact his deceased brother a year later. According to reports, Bruce reached out to a medium, and during the session, the medium began speaking like Robert. This experience profoundly impacted him, leading him to develop a belief in the existence of life after death.

The Willis Family Life

Bruce and his siblings were born to Marlene and David Willis. Their father was an American soldier, and their mother, of German descent, worked in a bank. Their parents split in 1972 when Bruce, the eldest sibling, was a teenager.

Bruce, his brother David, and film producer Stephen Eads co-founded the production company Willis Brothers Films and produced their first movie in 2008 but were met with a lawsuit then.

The company allegedly faced a $4 million lawsuit for breaching a contract. According to reports, three production companies claimed that Bruce had suddenly resigned from his position as the director and lead actor in the feature film "Three Stories About Joan."

Willis Brothers Films has produced several movies, including "The Whole Nine Yards," "Breakfast of Champions," Loaded Weapon 1," and "Catch .44," in which Bruce Willis costarred with Forest Whitaker and Nikki Reed.
