Miles Roosevelt Bialik Stone was born to "The Big Bang Theory" actress Mayim Bialik and her ex-husband, Michael Stone. Alongside raising her children to be vegan, the actress has raised Miles Roosevelt Bialik Stone and his brother to be mindful of the environment.

Miles Roosevelt Bialik Stone's famous mom revealed she receives a lot of questions about her decision to raise him and his brother to be vegan. And while there have been a few bumps along the way, being vegan is a "philosophical, medical, and spiritual" decision Mayim Bialik and her family make daily.

Miles Roosevelt Bialik Stone's Mother Had Difficulty Giving Birth to Him
In October 2005, Mayim's representative confirmed that she had given birth to a healthy baby boy in Los Angeles. However, when Miles was 9, his mother revealed she had a challenging birthing experience with him. The actress shared:
"I was told that maybe my body is not the type that knows how to go into labor, and I might always have to have inductions."
Miles' parents later welcomed his brother, Frederick, in 2008, and for her second pregnancy, Mayim opted for a home birth. "He was born at home in my living room, and that was a more relaxed, exciting, fantastic day," Mayim said.

Miles Roosevelt Bialik Stone's Parents Raised Him to Follow the Jewish Faith
In honor of Miles' pending Bar Mitzvah in 2018, he and his family traveled to Israel to volunteer. Miles' mother explained that to become an adult in the eyes of the Jewish faith, the youth are encouraged to participate in a charity project.
Thus, Miles and his family volunteered to help feed the hungry in Israel. The "The Big Bang Theory" co-starring Jim Parson, Kaley Cuoco, and Johnny Galecki — star admitted that while Miles was initially skeptical of the project, their trip to Ra'anana, a city in Israel, ended up being an unforgettable experience for the teenager.

Miles Roosevelt Bialik Stone Is Vegan, and His Mother Taught Him How to Care for the Environment
In 2019, Miles' mother opened up about how to raise healthy vegan children and revealed she often faced questions about her decision to raise vegan kids. The actress admitted that there have been bumps in the road, including explaining to her children why they could not eat certain foods.
However, Mayim added that contrary to popular belief, vegan children can be healthy and that she and her ex-husband's decision to raise their children was also medically related. The actress said:
"My children are rosy-cheeked and alert; they have good endurance for sports, they are hearty, (and) they are hardly ever sick. [...] Being vegan is a philosophical, a medical, and a spiritual decision that we make every day."
During an interview, Miles' mother also revealed that he never wore diapers as a child and was taught to love and care for the environment by recycling, picking up trash when he saw it, and more. "Now that I am a mom of two sons, I get to demonstrate for my boys the importance of reducing, reusing, and recycling," Mayim shared.
The 47-year-old has also chosen to raise her children away from the spotlight and rarely shares snaps of them on social media. However, when she does, their faces are often covered.
In August 2021, Mayim took to Instagram to share a photo of her and Miles outdoors, but his baseball cap concealed his face. In August of last year, the actress documented her and her kids' trip to Disneyland but maintained their privacy, and earlier this year, Mayim posted another glimpse of Miles in a post featuring their cat.
Miles Roosevelt Bialik Stone's Parents Are No Longer Together
In 2012, Miles' mother and father went their separate ways after nearly ten years of marriage. According to reports, their divorce was finalized a year later, and the former couple reached a stipulated judgment, including over custody of their children.
"The hands-on style of parenting we practice played no role in the changes that led to this decision; relationships are complicated no matter what style of parenting you choose. The main priority for us now is to make the transition to two loving homes as smooth and painless as possible," Miles' mother revealed.
