David Beckham's Daughter Harper, 12, Looks Like Dad's 'Double' as She Hugs Him in New Pics

The Beckham family has been among the most loved and followed families worldwide for decades. However, there was no sign of a female heir until little Harper was born 12 years ago. Now, she is a daddy's girl.

David and Victoria Beckham dominated headlines in the late 1990s and early 2000s. David because of his football career and Victoria because she was Posh Spice of the English girl group Spice Girls.

The couple began welcoming children and had three boys whom they loved fiercely. However, the couple completed their family when they welcomed their first and only daughter, Harper.

They have built a beautiful bond with their daughter since her birth. Now, Harper and her father share a beautiful relationship and a striking resemblance to one another.

What Is David and Harper's Relationship Like?

David recently took to Instagram to share photos of himself and his daughter at a training he coached with his soccer team, InterMiami. He captioned the post, "Take your daughter to training day."

In the photos, Harper stood behind her sitting father with her arms around his shoulders and rested her chin on his head. The pair smiled sweetly into the camera, and fans noticed their resemblance.

One fan said that Harper was a daddy's girl and that she had the best example of a man in her father. Others gushed that they loved the relationship between Harper and her father. One person told David he was a great role model for all his children. Another fan noted that Harper was the apple of her father's eye, while another wrote:

Many fans agreed that Harper was her father's "double." David and Harper have always shared a beautiful relationship, with David being the one to announce his daughter's birth in 2011 on Facebook. However, she has lived a sheltered life.

How Was Harper Raised?

In July last year, Victoria revealed that she and David had not allowed Harper to be on social media yet. The protective mother said she was worried about how cruel people could be on social media, noting her daughter was at a pivotal time in her life.

Harper is also more conservative than her mother. Victoria said her daughter would never go out with a full face of makeup and once rebuked her by saying:

"'Mummy, I've seen some pictures of you when you were in the Spice Girls, and your skirts were just unacceptable. They were just too short.' Then David piped up and said, 'Absolutely, Harper! They really, really were.' And she was actually quite disgusted at how short my skirts were. I said, 'Are you never going to wear skirts like that?' She said, 'Absolutely not.' We'll see."

While Harper's father is sporty, she enjoys ballet and chess more than being out on a field. Although she has not inherited her father's love for football, they have a strong bond. In January last year, David shared an Instagram photo of himself looking upset and said it was because Harper had told him she had a crush.

David often gushes about his daughter on social media, wishing her happy birthday or showing off her achievements. Harper is also supportive of her father, showing up at his many events and cheering him on in celebration.

When Harper was only a toddler, David talked about how he felt about her dating. David didn't want his daughter ever to date and joked that he would lock her in a tower like Rapunzel for the rest of her life.

Although he has not had to deal with Harper dating, David has faced other events with her. In September this year, Harper did her father's makeup as Taylor Swift's music played in the background. David smiled and danced during the makeup session.
