'Very Exclusive Club' of Stars Get the 'Most Delicious Cake' from Tom Cruise Every Christmas – Details
- Brooke Shields used to receive the notorious Christmas coconut cake from Tom Cruise until he stopped sending it to her.

When Tom Cruise was still married to his third wife, Katie Holmes, they built the most adorable Christmas tradition. The former couple and their child, Suri Cruise, would send a select number of people cakes for the festive season.
The Bunt cake from Doan's Bakery, based in Woodland Hills, California, cost $126 each and was sent to Tom's celebrity friends each year. According to Brooke Shields, before the "Mission Impossible" star and Katie separated in 2012, the trio sent her one of the cakes as a gift.

Shields said after the actor and Katie broke up, the coconut Christmas cakes started coming in from only Tom, and she got them for ten years but not each year. At some point, the cakes stopped coming altogether. However, the actress isn't the only celebrity who was part of the list of recipients.
Who Are the Other Celebrities Who Received Tom's Christmas Cakes?
Various celebrities are honored by Tom with these specialty treats each year. However, like Shields, some of them used to make it onto his Christmas list but no longer do, and all of them, including the actress, wish to return to his good side to receive the confectionery again!

In April 2023, Cary revealed that Tom sent him the coconut cake the previous year. The actor who appeared in "Days of Thunder" with the action star revealed that he normally didn't indulge in cake however, when it's sent by Tom, he can't help but eat it, adding:
"That was my last guilty pleasure."

In November 2022, Angela Bassett and Raymond Lee appeared on "The Kelly Clarkson Show," where they discussed being recipients of Tom's holiday cakes. Raymond revealed that the "very exclusive club" that afforded them the pleasure of receiving the desserts was called "TCCC:" Tom Cruise Christmas Cake.
Kelly Clarkson spoke to the camera hilariously, telling Tom that "I like cake" when Basset revealed she was one of the recipients. Raymond confirmed that the confectionery was "the most delicious cake ever."

The "Quantum Leap" star said he received his last cake with a knock on his door and a pink box with a message from Tom, but no one was physically there when he opened up. Some celebrities even share their unique gifts online.

In early December 2020, Rosie took to her Instagram account to share a box of the coveted cake, which was gifted to her by Tom. That same month, two years later, the actress showed the inside of the box when she received another one from Tom.

In February 2023, Jay revealed on the "Jennifer Hudson Show" that he got the cake after shooting "Top Gun: Maverick" with Tom. The actor, who's gotten the cake yearly, explained how the gift was something like a "trophy" for those honored with it, leading Jennifer Hudson to mention that she needs to get on the list.
The actress said, "I'm not even a big sweet person, but it's so good."

In January 2023, Hanks appeared on "Mythical Kitchen," saying the cake was so good that it could only be eaten once yearly. He revealed that he never bought it, it only arrived as a gift from the action star each year. Hanks said his colleagues started noticing the mail around Thanksgiving, hoping they got the "off-the-scale fantastic" cake.

While being interviewed by "Dish Nation" in May 2022, Jon shared that he went on the TCCC list before shooting "Top Gun: Maverick" with Tom. Greg complained about Tom making him train for the movie, but when Christmas came around, he sent him the cake!
Other co-stars in the film, like Monica, confirmed the cake is "delicious." Miles said Tom set him the cake on his birthday in February, and the dessert is "very good" and was still in his fridge when the interview was done.
