Jennifer Aniston Acutely ‘Struggling’ as She Deals with the Loss of ‘Friends’ Costar Matthew Perry
A reputable source claims Jennifer Aniston is struggling to cope with the loss of her good friend and former "Friends" co-star Matthew Perry. She and her castmates recently attended the late actor's funeral.
Jennifer Aniston is reeling from the loss of her good friend, Matthew Perry. The "Friends" actor's sudden death took her co-stars by surprise, and it's been a lot to deal with.
Aniston, along with her co-stars David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, and Matt LeBlanc, recently reunited to put their good friend to rest. They were all present at the Forest Lawn cemetery in Los Angeles, just minutes away from Warner Bros. studios, where they spent a decade filming their hit show.
It can be recalled that Aniston broke down in tears back in a 2004 interview at the thought of losing Perry. Thus, days after his funeral, a reputable industry source claimed Aniston was the one grieving the most:
"Jen and Courteney are reeling the most, and Jen is probably the one who is struggling most acutely."
Aside from Perry's death, Aniston is also grieving the first anniversary of her father's death. She hadn't moved on from her dad's passing, and now, she has to deal with another unimaginable loss.
Aniston and the rest of the "Friends" cast have yet to speak out about Perry's death personally. However, they released a joint statement shortly after finding out the news, remaining a united front after all these years. "In time, we will say more, as and when we are able," the actors promised.
Perry, Aniston, Kudrow, LeBlanc, Cox, and Schwimmer were co-stars for ten years from 1994 to 2004, filming a total of 236 episodes together. More than co-stars, they became family to one another. They kept in touch even after the show ended, and their bond never changed.
May the late Matthew Perry rest in peace, knowing he was loved, treasured, and cherished by all those who knew him.
