Michael Strahan’s Absence from ‘GMA’ to Continue after Being Out for Almost 2 Weeks
"Good Morning America" is set to continue airing without Michael Strahan for the time being. The former NFL player is on leave for personal family matters.
Avid viewers of "Good Morning America" have wondered where Michael Strahan has been. He last appeared on the hit morning show on October 26.
To answer everybody's questions, a spokesperson for "Good Morning America" revealed that Strahan, who is also notably absent on "NFL Sunday," where he is an analyst, will not be appearing on the show for at least another week:
"Michael Strahan will not be with us this week as he is dealing with some personal family matters. We appreciate everyone's thoughts and concerns."
Strahan himself has not spoken out on social media. His last update was on October 25 to promote his show, "The $100,000 Pyramid."
Since dealing with his alleged personal family matters, he's also missed a couple of appearances in New York. The last time the 51-year-old was publicly spotted was in late October when he was at a newly-opened New Jersey restaurant with other people.
Fans couldn't help but worry about Strahan following his absence. They flooded his recent Instagram post with questions about where he's been.
"Where are you? Haven't seen you on GMA or Fox football," one fan wrote. "Where did he go? I don't see him on GMA anymore," another asked.
