Lily Kwong Navigates Skincare & Makeup Through The Years

On Instagram, her actor-husband, Nick, celebrated her 34th birthday in May 2023, and Lily seems to have a passion for maintaining her beauty.

In recent years, she has openly shared insights into her beauty care routine. She mentioned that acne became a challenge for her. She continued:

"Maybe it's a result of starting my own business, but when I turned 30 I started breaking out [with acne]. The skincare routine that I had forever just stopped working."

She later sought help from an herbalist and acupuncture specialist. Additionally, she adjusted her regimen to include gentler products, cleansing twice, using a toner, and applying Salicylic Acid.

She also prefers makeup without pore-clogging ingredients. Occasionally, she adds a lip color, favoring liquid lipsticks, and uses eye pencils for a playful touch. Lily keeps it simple with her hair care due to her being "in the dirt so much."

Lily also recalled an early beauty memory of making perfume with her neighbor. They would gather rose petals, soak them in water, and create different scents by adding various plants.

Before diving into landscape work, Lily was a former model of Elite Model Management in New York.

Reflecting on this childhood activity, Lily finds it amusing that her current passion for landscape and plant-based materials may have originated from those moments spent with her neighbor.
