Last month, a friend of the "Pulp Fiction" star, "Moonlighting" creator Glenn Gordon Caron, gave his own assessment of how Bruce was doing when he saw him. According to Caron:

"He's not totally verbal; he used to be a voracious reader...and he's not reading now. All those language skills are no longer available to him, and yet he's still Bruce..."

When it comes to whether or not Bruce has any inclination of what is going on with him, his doting wife, Emma Hemming Willis, admitted that it's difficult to discern that. One such way for them to do so is by bringing more awareness to FTD (Frontotemporal Dementia) and helping those affected, as discussed by Emma:

"FTD is the most common form of young-onset dementia and can strike any adult age...But it's still not a well-known disease...I knew I needed to raise my voice to bring awareness to this disease...It's important to me to be an advocate on behalf of those families who don't have the time, energy, or resources to advocate for themselves."
