- Hollywood icon Jennifer Aniston sparked heated reactions among the public when she showed off her toned abs in a new video.
- While some doubted Aniston's abs were real, others praised the blonde beauty and called her physique body goals.
- The star has been open about her fitness journey and workout routines.
Hollywood icon Jennifer Aniston, 54, has built up an incredible track record of success as a prominent actress and figure in the entertainment industry. Best known for her great run on the ever-popular hit series "Friends," Aniston has crafted an illustrious career.
More than just a talented performer, the "We're the Millers" star has also gained recognition for her stunning looks, adding to her "It" girl status in Tinseltown. Aniston's svelte and toned figure, in particular, has turned the heads of many on various occasions.
From the outside, it may appear as though Aniston's physique may be a trait she has been blessed with; however, she puts in a lot of work to maintain her body's incredible tone. Up until recently, Aniston followed a rigorous low-carb diet for years.
However, in recent years, she has changed her diet to adopt a more inclusive approach, allowing herself to delight in carbohydrates in moderation. Of how her diet has changed and the effects on her, Aniston revealed:
"[I] started giving myself a break, allowing yourself to have pasta, a sandwich...There's something my body appreciates about [having carbs], like, 'Oh, thank you! Why are you depriving me of things I love?'"
Aniston prefers to consume liquids instead of solids for breakfast, citing that she isn't a big breakfast person and usually has a cup of coffee and her collagen most mornings. Speaking of collagen, as many know, Tinseltown is notorious for its age rhetoric related to older women in the entertainment industry.
With impossible beauty standards thrust upon older female stars, seeking treatments and procedures to appear more youthful is common among some in showbusiness. Aniston stands as one who embraces aging instead of shying away from it.
The cherry on top of the cake is that she has been blessed with excellent Greek genes. In terms of another way she maintains good health, Aniston has been a member of a revolutionary home workout brand named Pvolve, founded by a woman named Rachel Katzman.

A part of why she chose to embark on the Pvolve journey was because she had injured herself while doing one of her past grueling workout routines. In addition to sustaining an injury, Aniston also disclosed what else she went through as a result of extreme workouts:
"I just burnt out and broke my body. My physical therapist gave me a Barbie doll that's covered in Kinesio tape to show every injury I've had in the last 15 years."
She added that she would wake up hours before work to exercise as much as possible. In addition to the intensive workout, the hours she woke up were also extreme.
Instead of pushing participants dangerously beyond their limits, Pvolve aims to get individuals to look their best without resorting to harsh regimen tactics. Nowadays, Aniston stays within her limits and does low-impact and functional workouts she enjoys with her friends while listening to music.
In an ideal week, Aniston would love to work out four days a week and dedicate another day to a long walk or hike. But as one of the most sought-after actresses in the industry, some weeks do not allow it.

Another essential factor in Aniston's health and wellness journey is her spirituality and prioritization of mental health. She is big on quieting her mind through various forms of meditation like yoga and writing. Therapy has also been instrumental in working through many personal things for her.
