Acting powerhouse Rupert Grint, 35, is a well-respected and talented figure in the entertainment industry. Though his acting credits span many works and productions, Grint is mostly known for his portrayal as Ron Weasley from the legendary franchise "Harry Potter."

He and his fellow co-stars, Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, took the world by storm when they starred in the popular movies, entering the film industry when they were merely children. While Radcliffe and Watson catapulted to superstardom, embarking on their famous journeys as A-list celebrities, ultimately leading to constant public scrutiny, Grint has remained relatively private.

Since the "Harry Potter" movies became incredible successes, both Radcliffe and Watson's lives have been subject to countless headlines in tabloids and outlets; meanwhile, Grint has managed to keep his personal life out of the spotlight. Grint is so private that a media outlet stated that the most personal fact about the actor they've come across is that he wanted to become an ice cream man when he was a kid.

Although media outlets and tabloids may not have access to many details about Grint's life, the "Servant" star has revealed information about himself. Last year, Grint sat down for an interview after the 20th anniversary of "Harry Potter." Speaking of the cast reunion and reflecting on how long it's been since the last movie of the franchise wrapped, Grint expressed:

"Yeah, time has passed. I do feel like an old man now."

In 2020, a pop culture outlet reported that Grint had welcomed a blonde baby girl with his longtime partner, Georgia Groome, who is also a child star. A representative of the couple first relayed information about the duo expecting their first baby in April that same year.

The news that they were expecting came after Groome, star of "Angus, Thongs, and Perfect Snogging," was spotted with a baby bump while out in London. When their daughter was born, the pair, who have reportedly been dating since 2011, made another statement via their representative:

"Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome are delighted to confirm the birth of their baby girl. We would please ask that you respect their privacy at this very special time."

Seeing how privacy is a preference held by both Grint and Groome, little detail is known about their relationship. However, two years ago, the actor shared some insights concerning the deep and loving connection he and Groome have:

"It's a very natural thing—we're just best friends. We're kind of the same person; we think the same way. That's always made it work—that's why it's lasted..."

With regard to his personality, Grint previously described himself as a shy person. Thus, it was much to the surprise of many when he decided to join Instagram at the end of 2020.

Despite his knack for privacy and shy ways, Grint joined, and his first post was an endearing picture of him holding his baby girl. In fact, the post was specifically about introducing his daughter in addition to making his social media debut.

Though he doesn't consider himself a social media guru, Grint managed to break a Guinness World Record when his Instagram profile became the fastest page to reach 1 million followers. His record saw him take the title from Sir David Attenborough.

Since becoming a dad in 2020, a lot has changed regarding the Guinness World Record breaker's perspective, especially as it relates to his career. After welcoming his daughter in 2020, Grint spoke about how fatherhood has changed him.

After being asked whether he would be interested in reprising his role as Weasley for a potential and long-desired "Harry Potter" return, the actor explained how fatherhood has added a new dynamic to his acting. His answer was in specific reference to the eery and chilling series "Servant":

"I think it's, it's probably the worst show to be a part of if you've just become a dad...It definitely has kind of changed my perspective on things but also in a helpful way...it was something I never really had much of an idea of; it was that kind of love..."

The kind of love Grint referred to also comes with an added layer of wanting to do everything within his power to protect his daughter from harm. He previously spoke about being more aware of the uncontrollable lurking dangers swirling around in society.

Grint disclosed that his little girl can now even formulate her own opinions after having uttered her first words, mama and dada, which she said at the same time.

Grint further shared stories of how worried he and Groome got as a result of wanting to protect their baby fiercely. The doting father divulged:

"I don't want to go into detail, but the first night was just terrifying. You can't sleep at all, just constantly checking that she's breathing...Sleeping, in general, for me, is something I've really struggled with..."

However, a lot of the anxiety that plagued the new dad has somewhat dissipated recently. In an interview Grint conducted earlier this year, he brought up how his daughter has relaxed him. In another instance, he also mentioned that his insomnia had improved:

"I've started sleeping so much better—I used to be a horrific insomniac, now I'm sleeping...It's been a very calming process for me..."

Grint has also shared a few other details about his new child. The name of the baby girl with two doting parents is Wednesday. According to her dad, who admitted to being hesitant when revealing the inspiration behind his daughter's name, Wednesday was named after the famous goth girl in "The Addams Family."

Wednesday also has a second name that starts with a G. Her father explained that the decision to include her second name as an initial (Wednesday G.) came from Hollywood icon Samuel L. Jackson.

As reported by another media outlet, Baby Wednesday adores dollhouses and princesses and, interestingly, has an affinity for Target stores. Apparently, little Wednesday loves Target stores so much that her loving dad built her her own mini Target checkout counter to play pretend with.

Wednesday has also started talking and becoming more active since last year. In fact, Grint disclosed that his little girl can now even formulate her own opinions after having uttered her first words, Mama and Dada, which she said at the same time.

Grint even quipped about how Wednesday has also learned to say a cheeky cuss word due to spending a lot of time outside his dressing room while running through his lines. Her dad went on to mention that she tends to say the f-word when she's excited.

The star finished his statement by admitting that he and Groome find the blonde little girl's innocent utterance of the word hilarious despite getting mixed reactions from strangers.
