Late Hollywood icon and legendary entertainer Michael Jackson, aka the King of Pop, was a father to three kids: Prince, Paris, and Blanket Jackson. According to a news report, Michael welcomed Paris and Prince with his ex-wife, Deborah Rowe, while Blanket was welcomed via a surrogate.

Unfortunately, when the "They Don't Care About Us" singer passed away, his children were still young. His eldest kids were 12 and 11, while his youngest was seven years old.

After their father's death, their grandmother and matriarch of the Jackson family, Katherine Jackson, was granted temporary guardianship as a co-guardian over them. A source states that although Rowe is the mother of Michael's two eldest kids, making it fitting for her to be the one to gain guardianship, she was unable to be located at the time.

According to their family members, Paris, Prince, and Blanket lived at their family's San Fernando Valley compound after their dad's passing. In 2017, a pop culture outlet reported that Katherine had surrendered her co-guardianship of Blanket, who was 15 years old then.

Court documents revealed that the 93-year-old had signed sole legal guardianship of her 15-year-old grandson over to his older cousin, Tito "TJ" Jackson, who was 39 years old at the time. The grounds for the guardianship exchange were cited as follows:

"Given her own age and the fact that [Blanket] is now 15 years old, Katherine feels that TJ is able to assume all necessary responsibilities of the guardianship for the Minor Child."

Blanket, who is also known for his dad's infamous Berlin balcony incident, where he was dangled with a cover over his face above countless fans at three stories high, is now 21 years old. He was recently seen stepping out in public.

Recently this month, the 21-year-old, who tends to stay out of the spotlight, was seen looking all grown up. Blanket took a trip to Barnes & Noble in Calabasas where he was seen looking through the movie and television department of the store.

The King of Pop's youngest son adorned casual wear: red gym shorts, an oversized shirt with a print of the rock band The Doors on it, white socks, and black sneakers, for his excursion. His dark hair was on the longer side, with its tips reaching down to his chin, which was covered with a beard.

In addition to his chin facial hair, Blanket also had a mustache growing on top of his upper lip, adding to his grown-man look. Upon leaving the store, the young man was seen carrying a full bag of purchased items.

Blanket's most recent outing came after he was spotted with his brother in Las Vegas in August. The siblings had traveled there to celebrate what would have been their dad's 65th birthday. They attended the "Michael Jackson One" Cirque du Soleil show to commemorate the occasion.
