Her musical influences span Lana Del Rey, The Cure, and the late Kurt Cobain's band Nirvana. She avidly supports Del Rey, showing their connection through shared photos—one captured during the singer's show in LA and another in the form of a selfie featuring both of them.

In 2021, Truly's family faced public attention amid her parents' high-profile divorce, marked by allegations of domestic abuse.

Young created a short film for her music video, "LoverBoy," inspired by Bonnie and Clyde. The idea came to her while recording the song, and she swiftly brought it to life, conceptualizing, sharing it with friends, and shooting it the following weekend.

Truly Is Close To Her Parents Despite Divorce

In 2021, Truly's family faced public attention amid her parents' high-profile divorce, marked by allegations of domestic abuse. Nicole accused Dr. Dre of multiple instances of abuse, including holding a gun to her head and physical violence. The rapper denied the allegations.

After a year and a half of legal wrangling, Dr. Dre finalized the divorce with a hefty $100 million settlement. She walked away with not just the financial settlement but also kept all her jewelry and a fleet of four vehicles—a Rolls Royce, Range Rover, Escalade limousine, and Spyder motorcycle.

The former couple had been married for nearly 24 years. Aside from Truly, they share a son named Truice. Dr. Dre also has four other children from previous relationships, with the unfortunate loss of one in 2008.
