Public Aghast as Paris Hilton Admits First Changing Son’s Diaper Herself a Month after His Birth
Paris Hilton, the renowned Hilton Hotel heiress, recently admitted to not changing her son Phoenix's diaper for a whole month, a revelation that has caused a stir among the public.
On season two of Paris Hilton's new reality show, "Paris In Love," she shared that she had never changed her son's diaper, even though he was a month old.
The 42-year-old socialite, in a conversation with her sister Nicky Hilton, expressed her inexperience with this fundamental aspect of motherhood. "Should I learn how to change his diaper?" Hilton asked.
In response, Hilton's sister, 40, guided Hilton through the diaper-changing process and stressed the importance of engaging in all aspects of motherhood, even those that might be unpleasant. "Motherhood, you've got to get your hands a little bit dirty," she remarked.
Hilton's journey into motherhood has been unique, as she and her husband, Carter Reum, are raising Phoenix, now ten months, and a newborn daughter, London, both born via surrogacy.

Reum, sharing Hilton's concerns, spoke about their vision for their children's future, hoping to offer them a normal life away from the fame associated with being Paris Hilton's children. He highlighted safety concerns, particularly in public spaces, and the desire to protect their children from constant media attention.
The public reaction to Hilton's confession has been mixed, with some criticizing her readiness for motherhood, while others show an understanding of her unique path to parenting. One fan even remarked, "Poor child," in response to Hilton never changing her son's diaper.
Despite the challenges and scrutiny, Hilton and Reum are committed to adapting to their parenting roles. "I don't think we know everything the journey's gonna throw at us, but we're just gonna tackle it as we go," Reum stated, reflecting on their joint approach to the unforeseen challenges of parenthood.
