Susan Cavallari's husband, Clint Walker, entered the TV and film industry in the mid-1950s and soared to stardom only a year in as Cheyenne Bodie in the beloved Western series "Cheyenne." The Emmy-nominated show aired seven seasons between 1955 and 1963.

Clint starred in several other productions during and after his time in "Cheyenne," notably 1956's "The Ten Commandments" and 1967's "The Dirty Dozen." As for his personal life, the actor married three times. His final marriage lasted until he died in 2018.

Who Is Susan Cavallari?

Beyond her marriage with Clint, there is little information about Susan's background or career. The same can be said about her relationship with Clint, but the pair are said to have met in Grass Valley, California.

They tied the knot in Sparks, Nevada, on March 7, 1997. The couple kept their relationship hidden from the spotlight, though they sometimes attended public events together. Among their earliest public appearances is one from August 2000 in Beverly Hills.

Susan had accompanied her husband to the 18th Annual Golden Boot Awards. She wore a black tasseled jacket with a white blouse and black high-waist jeans with a silver chain belt. Clint matched with his wife in a white button-up, black trousers, and a leather jacket.

The lovebirds made another appearance in Beverly Hills in September 2012. They were pictured at the retro TV action-adventure-thon at The Paley Center for Media. Susan also frequently appears on Clint's Facebook page; from their photos, it's clear the pair had a similar sense of style.

Susan Cavallari Was at Her Husband's Side When He Died

News broke in May 2018 that Susan's husband – once pronounced dead in 1973 – had died of congestive heart failure. The "Cheyenne" star's daughter, Valerie Walker, had confirmed his cause of death. TMZ reported that Valerie and Susan were present when he passed.

Clint and Susan never had children. Valerie is the late star's only child from his first marriage, who became a pilot. By her late 20s, Valerie was a second officer for Western Airlines and a flight engineer on the Boeing 727 aircraft. She has also worked for other commercial airlines.

Susan's husband was 21 when he married for the first time; his wife was Verna Lucille Garver. Shortly after marrying, the former couple welcomed their daughter, Valerie. They divorced in 1968.

Clint's second wife was actress Camille D'Arc, whom he wed on May 26, 1974. Camille had two children from a prior marriage when she married Clint, and they lived on a small ranch in Grass Valley. Sadly, Camille died of cancer in January 1994 and was buried in Culver City.

Clint continued working following Camille's death. He reprised his role as Cheyenne Bodie in the 1995 film "Kung Fu: The Legend Continues." His final onscreen credit was in the 1998 adventure film, "Toy Soldiers." He voiced Nick Nitro opposite Kirsten Dunst, Jay Mohr, and Phil Hartman.
