Alan Jackson's Grandbaby Is on the Way: Photos & Details about the 'Little Sweetie Pie'

Alan Jackson's grandbaby is set to arrive in a few months. Many people have taken to social media to extend their congratulations to the country star and his family.

Recently, the daughter of famous musician Alan Jackson shared joyous news with the public on her Instagram account. Mattie Jackson posted a carousel of images that revealed that she and her husband, Connor Smith, are expecting a baby boy this year.

Pictures showed the excited parents embracing each other, with Connor lovingly wrapping his arms around his wife's waist. Other images depicted Mattie holding her baby bump, a close-up of their baby's sonogram, their dog posing with the ultrasound image, and additional photos of the happy couple.

Her caption, which detailed how thrilled the soon-to-be-parents are, also mentioned that their son will arrive in June. Mattie and Connor are not the only ones ecstatic over the news, as many fans expressed their excitement. "Look at that little sweetie pie! Oh, what a joy! 🖤🙌👏😍," swooned a fan. Another gushed, "So excited for you two! I know your mama and daddy are over the moon!"

An emotional Instagrammer asserted, "I'm crying!!! Congrats, you guys!" Another admirer wrote, "This is the best news I've heard all day. You girls are giving Alan the boys he never had. Can't wait to see!"

The wonderful news comes after the "Livin' on Love" artist opened up about how his wife's past health issue and significant losses that occurred in his life adversely affected him. Such tragic ordeals included Denise Jackson's cancer diagnosis, and the deaths of his mom, Ruth Musick Jackson, and son-in-law, Ben Selecman.

In 2021, the doting dad disclosed, "When you're the daddy and you kind of feel like you're the head man, and you've got your wife and your daughters and everybody, you really hurt more for them going through it."

For some time, Alan found it difficult to continue making music. However, he was able to pull himself out of a dark time and went back to recording. Of the country icon's impactful music, his loving wife, Denise, previously mentioned, "He'll have so many songs for our grandchildren and our great-grandchildren to hear and know who he was."

With his beloved daughter's recent news of their family's new addition, it looks like Alan Jackson's grandchild will have the opportunity to experience his grandfather's incredible legacy soon.

Jackson dazzles in a white strapless fitted dress, featuring an additional sheer layer that drapes from her shoulders to her feet. Alan Jackson's daughter became engaged on her 30th birthday. The proposal, which she had only expected to be a birthday celebration, took her by surprise and filled her with immense gratitude. In a social media post featuring numerous photos of the engagement ring, Mattie declared Connor to be the biggest blessing in her life.

Mattie confirmed her relationship with Connor on Instagram six months after they met. He is actually her best friend's brother-in-law. To Mattie, Connor was "more of an answer" to her prayers for healing her broken heart.

Tragically, she had lost her first husband, Ben, three and a half years before meeting Connor. In 2018, he fell backward and struck his head, leading to an 11-day medically induced coma. Unfortunately, Ben never recovered.

Alan Jackson shares two more daughters with his wife, Denise Jackson. Mattie Denise Jackson, born on June 19, 1990, is their oldest. She is followed by Alexandra "Ali" Jane Jackson, born on August 23, 1993. Alan's youngest, Dani Grace Jackson, was welcomed into the world on August 28, 1997.
