With a hint of humor, Blunt revealed her mother's suspicions, including the notion that her cello lessons might have been exacerbating the issue. The actress' mother speculated that the root of the problem was when the instrument rested against Blunt's ribcage.

Still, Blunt empathized with the challenge of not knowing how best to support a child with stuttering, something many parents face. However, she emphasized that people needed to understand that stuttering is not a nervous condition or a psychological issue. It is a neurological, biological, and hereditary disability that is not in any way the fault of the person afflicted by it.

In light of this, the actress added, "I am grateful to shed light on [stuttering] because it is a disability that lives very often in the shadows alongside its friends: fear and shame and humiliation."

However, later in their relationship, when Blunt asked Krasinski if he had seen the movie, he admitted to having watched it so many times, joking that it may have even been 75 times. "I'm lucky enough that she stayed with me and didn't realize that she had really married her stalker!" he said hilariously.
