This British film director and her actor husband were brought together by their shared love for films. The couple met on the set of the movie "Nowhere Boy" in 2009, which marked the beginning of a relationship that would soon face intense scrutiny.

Judging from the fact that the director was 42 and the actor was 18 when they met, she clarified that they waited until the project was over before exploring their connection. Fortunately, she beat it. But three years later, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Sam revealed she was misdiagnosed and went a year without treating the cancer but survived chemotherapy and a mastectomy.

Beating cancer for the second time changed her life. "I changed my diet, my world, my art," the director confessed. Her life also transformed for the better when she met Aaron.
