Rod Stewart's son Liam has tied the knot with his long-time sweetheart in a breathtaking ceremony. Despite the rain, the couple's love shone brightly as they celebrated their romance in the presence of their family and friends.

Liam Stewart, son of British rock legend Rod Stewart, married his long-time love Nicole Artukovich. The couple tied the knot in a breathtaking ceremony in Dubrovnik, Croatia.

Liam and Nicole, who met at a high school party over a game of beer pong thirteen years ago, finally said their vows under the romantic drizzle of rain.

In January 2023, they marked a significant milestone in their lives when they bought their first house. Months later, on May 12, 2023, they became parents to a baby boy, Louie Mark Roderick Stewart.

Liam proposed to Nicole after a few weeks, on July 2, 2023, and less than a year later, they exchanged vows in a lovely ceremony.

The wedding festivities kicked off with a welcome reception at Palm Tree Terrace at Hotel Excelsior on Thursday, May 30, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

However, the main event took place on Friday, May 31, 2024. The ceremony was held at the historic Church of St. Ignatius at 4:30 p.m., followed by a reception at Fort Lovrijenac from 6:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.

Rod expressed his joy on Instagram, writing, "I'm immensely proud to have witnessed the beautiful wedding ceremony of my son Liam to his bride Nicole."

He described their union as a wonderful coming together of the Stewart and Artukovich families before adding, "May they continue to find joy, love, and laughter for as long as they may live and produce many more babies to join their little one-year-old boy, Louie."

The wedding weekend in Dubrovnik was a family affair, filled with love, laughter, and celebrations. Penny Lancaster, Rod's wife, shared her excitement on social media, posting pictures from the wedding and expressing her pride in her family.

"Their love is on fire, their light shines so bright. I captured this moment that doesn’t need words. Congratulations, you love birds, I’m [honored] to have been a part of your beautiful celebrations," she wrote.

Videos and pictures of the wedding showed the couple and attendees joyfully carrying on with the celebrations even though it was raining.

Liam's sister, Renee Stewart, also shared pictures of the beautiful day on her Instagram stories. She was excited to celebrate her brother's wedding which coincided with her 32nd birthday.

Penny also posted on Instagram wishing Renee a happy birthday. On her Instagram stories, Renee shared a screenshot of Penny's post where she wrote, "Happy birthday beautiful."

The wedding featured featured a surprise performance by Petar Graso. Ruby, another of Rod's daughters, gushed about the wedding, "My little brother got married last weekend to the love of his life… I don't think I can go to another wedding after this because nothing will ever compare... you set the bar high, Nicole and Liam..."

"We also got to celebrate my little sister Nay Nay’s birthday with a long beautiful dinner followed by karaoke... all I can say is my heart is full, I love my family," she added.

The couple's love story is one for the ages. They began dating soon after they met at 16. Nicole moved to California to finish high school and college, while Liam was building his hockey career in Washington and Alaska.

Even though they were far apart, their connection grew stronger. They spent eight years together, explored seven countries, and lived in two. Then, they took a break for three years, but later reignited their romance.
