Heidi Klum and Seal's four teenagers were seen posing together in a recent snap their mom shared on Instagram, prompting a flurry of reactions from surprised fans. All of them, Heidi's husband, Tom Kaulitz, and their friends gathered to celebrate the matriarch's birthday with an intimate lunch. The birthday girl's ex-husband has previously shared some insights into how they co-parent their children.

Iconic supermodel Heidi Klum recently turned 51 and celebrated the special occasion with her loved ones. Adding an extra layer of sweetness to the festivities was the appearance of Heidi's four rarely-seen kids, Leni Klum, Henry, Johan, and Lou Samuel, whom she shares with legendary musician Seal.

The German-American beauty took to Instagram to post a heartwarming picture of her, her precious children, her husband, Tom Kaulitz, and other loved ones. In the snap, everyone sat at a beautifully decorated table that had an elongated floral reef in the center and big birthday balloons behind it.

They all posed and smiled for the camera as both Heidi and Tom held up champagne flutes with orange beverages inside them. "All I could wish for 🥰❤️," captioned Heidi alongside the photo.

Social media users who saw Heidi's post took to online platforms to express their opinions. Many were taken aback by the appearance of Leni, Henry, Johan, and Lou, noting how grown-up they looked.

On the other hand, others made disparaging comments about Heidi and her family. "Her family looks messy just like her," criticized a social media user. Another comment, which has been translated from German reads, "Somehow the boys' haircuts look like the lamp above them. 🤔"

In addition to the family photo the "Project Runway" star shared, she posted another snap from her birthday—this one just showing her and her beau. The endearing image displayed Heidi Klum and Tom locking lips with drinks in their hands. Accompanying the romantic picture was Heidi's caption, "51 🤪❤️"

Noticeably absent from the family affair was Heidi's ex-husband and father of her children, Seal. When it comes to their relationship, the British artist has made it no secret that the two did not always see eye to eye.

"I never had that teamwork [with Klum]. We never had teamwork," the "Kiss from a Rose" singer previously confessed in an interview.

However, with hard work, the ex-couple who finalized their divorce in 2014, have managed to co-parent their kids, although it's not always been easy.

Sitting down with a media outlet three years ago, Seal disclosed, "It can be challenging. It requires teamwork. If you are a team, if both parents are a team, then it's really easy and that's not a real challenge at all… But you have to be a team. And if you're not a team, then it can all fall to pieces."

Though the ex-couple split many years ago, Seal has maintained an active presence as a father in all his kids' lives. He has also spoken proudly and fondly of them on many occasions, especially Leni Klum, whom he adopted after Heidi and her ex, Flavio Briatore (Leni's biological father), split.

Seal met Klum when she was pregnant with Leni and recalled loving the little girl throughout Heidi's pregnancy and even more so when she was born. He has acted as a father figure to Leni throughout her life, and the pair have formed a formidable bond.

The doting dad is in awe of the young woman he has raised. Speaking about Leni last year, the artist said, "I'm more proud of everything that she is. She walks through life with this type of humility that allows her to move so gracefully through it all, and she has an innate understanding of people in general and people's feelings. So I'm kind of more impressed with everything that she is."

In 2021, he spoke movingly about their incredibly close bond, describing it as "everything." He fondly recalled feeling a connection with Leni from the earliest stages of her life, further emphasizing his deep-rooted affection for her since before her birth.

Like her ex, Heidi has also expressed her pride in their children. She has marveled at how much they have grown, particularly noting her son Henry's impressive height of 6'3". This fond moment came after Heidi posted a photo of her son as a baby to commemorate his 18th birthday.

Lou, their fourth child and second daughter, like her siblings, was born into a loving home. When she was born, Seal described her as beautiful beyond words. He felt there was no way he could love her as much as his other children, but when she was born, he saw it was possible.

During their marriage, Seal praised Heidi for her exceptional qualities as a mother and wife, admiring her ability to maintain romance and warmth in the family, even amidst the challenges of raising three young children.
