Elvis Presley's widow was spotted all stylish at a public outing dedicated to her husband
The ex-wife of the late Elvis Presley has been promoting a new documentary about the legend, looking totally stylish.
Priscilla Presley was in New York for a special media luncheon to endorse the HBO film. She has been around to South x Southwest in Austin, Texas and Nashville, Tennessee. Daily Mail has more info.
The 72-year-old participated in panel discussions about the project and screenings while looking like a fashion maven. She oozed off a chic, fashionista vibe in her long-sleeved ankle-length black dress.
She added a dark red scarf around her neck and matched her ensemble with a pair of dark red boots. Her red tresses were styled in loose curls and her makeup included black eyeliner and mascara and red lip color.
Priscilla had a hand in the documentary as she is the executive producer. The documentary is directed by Thom Zimny and fans will be able to see it on HBO on April 14.
Priscilla has spent much of her life preserving and protecting the legacy of the King of Rock and Roll, which can also be seen in the docu. The documentary features photos and footage one might never have seen. It also features insights from music industry stars that included Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, and Stax Records’ David Porter and Sun Records’ Sam Philips.
The docu takes us back to Elvis’ ties to Memphis and how the influence of the city and the community of artists had on him.
Priscilla said that he always came to Memphis.
“He always came back to Memphis because Hollywood didn’t get him. And he didn’t like Hollywood. He needed to come back to where things felt real.
Priscilla and Elvis got married in 1967 and welcome their only daughter Lisa Marie the following year. But they actually got divorced in 1973, although Priscilla is the star’s beneficiary when he died.
