The world woke up to the shocking news of Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum breaking up after a 9-year marriage. The devastating news sent shocking waves all over as many people did not see this coming. The couple made a joint statement saying that they decided to break up amicably and they wanted the world to hear it from them than from other sources.

The two, both aged 37, met on the set of 2006's Step Up. They started dating and got married in 2009 in Malibu. They have a daughter Everly, who turns 5 in May. The reason why news of their breakup has hit most people is that they seemed the perfect couple although Tatum had admitted in 2014 to being a 'high-functioning alcoholic.'

So, what really caused the split? A source said that Tatum’s work and busy schedule may have done them in. 'Channing has been working non-stop, with four movies announced for 2018 alone.’ The insider goes on to say that they are both loving and dedicated to their daughter, but their relationship could not take the time apart. Just a few weeks ago, Tatum posted a photo of them both together at home, and so it seems they were still in good terms until recently.
