Eddie Murphy, 57, shows off his 38-year-old blonde girlfriend during a rare public outing

There are some couples that, even though they have been together for a long time, they are so private that people get surprised when they see them in public.

That’s the case of Eddie Murphy, 57, and Paige Butcher, 38, who have been dating for more than five years. On April 8, 2018, they made a rare appearance into the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, to enjoy a basketball match.

According to Daily Mail, both of them were photographed side-by-side holding hands right before the game between Los Angeles Lakers and Utah Jazz began. They looked like a new couple.

Murphy put on an all-black outfit as he chose matching shirt, pants, zipped-down hoodie, and sunglasses. He added a bit of color in his shoes, which were black with white details.

Butcher opted for a monochromatic theme, too, wearing everything grey. She donned matching sweater and skinny jeans that made her look fit and strong. She put on a pair of grey and white Converse shoes to give her outfit that sporty look it needed.

She chose to go big on her accessories as she carried a huge white leather purse by her side, as well as a silver watch that perfectly matched her glittering diamond pendant necklace.

When the couple was inside the stadium, Murphy took his time to say hello to some of his friends, including Kevin Dillon, best known for Entourage. After shaking hands, they had a short conversation and he went back to his seat next to Butcher.

Murphy and Butcher first met in 2006 while both of them were working on Big Momma’s House 2. They have been in a relationship since 2012 and, so far, they have not welcomed any child or said anything about getting married anytime soon.

It doesn’t mean he has not welcomed children, though. He shares five with his former wife, Nicole Mitchel, one with Mel B, one with Tamara Hood Johnson, and one with Paulette McNeely.
