Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen step out in matching outfits and large necklaces at the red carpet

It’s been a while since we covered the Olsen twins. They were out and about on a recent red carpet event and they looked as fashionable as we remember them. As the Daily Mail reports, the twins ensured to bring their co-ordination game.

Mary-Kate Olsen-Sarkozy and her blonder sister Ashley Olsen wore caftans to the Heavenly Bodies: Fashion & the Catholic Imagination Costume Institute Gala in Manhattan on Monday. The 31-year-old twins wore gowns designed by their label The Row as well as vintage Paco Rabanne along with large statement necklaces. They gowns may have looked oversized but that has been their trademark for the longest time. Their label also specializes in clothes that look a little too large but they are a hit among fashion lovers.

The twins who have a combined $300M fortune since they collectively played Michelle Tanner on their ABC sitcom Full House (1987-1995) have been off TV for over 6 years. After their TV days, they went into fashion where they jointly started a luxury fashion line. In 2015, Mary-Kate said their work ethic has always been with them but they find ways to relax to avoid burn-out.

“I think we’re lucky [working hard] comes quite naturally for us. We don’t need so much time to sit and think and ponder. But then I have a husband, two step-kids and a life; I have to go home and cook dinner. I ride horses on the weekends. You find the thing that helps you relax and if you don’t have it, look for it. Or you get burned out and then you’re not productive.”

Their younger sister, Elizabeth Olsen, has been making a name for herself lately and she credits her sisters for teaching her how to deal with it. 'They showed me that you can be private, but also accessible to journalists, for those reasons. It's helpful and I learned my value system from them. They've always had the greatest friends and so have I.'
