Tori Spelling shares sweet photo of 12th marriage anniversary celebration amid public fights
The actress puts her marriage first as she takes a child-free vacation with her hubby in the sunny beaches of Hawaii following a string of domestic fights.
Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott are celebrating their 12thyear of marriage and the actress recently confirmed, as New Idea revealed, she was spending a child-free Hawaiian vacation with her hubby to mark the occasion.
In an Instagram post, the 44-year-old mother-of-five expressed her excitement over having some much needed we-time with the man she referred to as her “soulmate” in her caption. Confessing it was the first time they were going on a vacation sans kids in 12 years, she also said it was important for them to reconnect as a couple. The former ‘Beverly Hills 90210’ star wrote,
“As a mom of 5 I don’t know life without my kiddos. But, sometimes it’s important to take time and remember the whole reason those 5 little blessings are in our lives… and that is a mad love that started with my soulmate @imdeanmcdermott.”
Recalling her last time traveling with Dean without kids was when they got married in Fiji, the actress couldn’t help but be both nervous and excited about their trip.
“This #mamabear was anxious leaving the kiddos but enjoying reconnecting with my love. So important!”
The couple who share five children – two daughters (Stella, 9 and Hattie, 6) and three sons (Liam, 11, Finn, 5, and Beau, 1), have recently been making headlines with a series of domestic fights that have been called to the attention of the police.
On March 1, police rushed to their home responding to Dean’s call after his wife reportedly became “aggressive.” The following day, he sought help from the police again to track down his wife at the doctor’s office after observing her strange behavior.
Now that they’re enjoying a holiday in Hawaii, it’s safe to say the couple have mended their troubles and are finding their way back to marital bliss.
