Duane "Dog" Chapman reappeared on May 13 to wish his wife, Beth Chapman, and his late mother, Barbara Chapman, a happy Mother's Day.

The Instagram posts came more than a month after his last activity on the social networking site.

He shared the first image of his mother, a classic sepia photo of her smiling at the camera, and captioned it "Happy Mother’s Day mom ! Hope the weathers nice in heaven."

The post has almost 5,000 likes, and plenty of well-wishes from fans who noticed how beautiful his mother was.

The second post was dedicated to his wife, Beth, who suffered from throat cancer in 2017 and required emergency surgery in an attempt to save her life.

This image showed Beth reclining on a sofa, in her standard short black dress, with her long blonde curls hanging loosely about her shoulders.

Dog had a simple message for her in the caption: "I LOVE YOU BETH Happy Mother’s Day !!"

The image was quickly popular among the couple's fans, with almost 12,000 likes in the few days since it was posted.

Beth certainly looks relaxed and happy in the image.

Dog and Beth share 3 children together, Dominic Davis, Bonnie Chapman, and Garry Chapman. Beth has another daughter from a former relationship, while Dog has another 10 children from a number of previous partners.

The couple resides in their native Hawaii, where their reality show, Dog The Bounty Hunter, was popular for many years.
