Jerry Lewis's home goes on sale for $1.4 million

The fans had a real chance of looking closely at the late comedian's lifestyle after his magnificent property was listed for sale.

An article on ReviewJournal informed that the Las Vegan home of the iconic comedian Jerry Lewis has been listed for sale at $1.4 million. The 7,325 square foot property is located at 1701 Waldman Ave.

The massive estate that rests behind a wrought-iron gate boasts 6 bedrooms and 6 baths, a bar, and even an elevator.

The property, where Lewis lived for around 35 years, also offers a separate casita and office and five full bathrooms. Additionally, it has an ideal pool and backyard for entertainment purposes.

The impressive mansion is located in a posh, high-profile neighborhood, which has been home to several famous names in Hollywood since the 50's.

Popular celebrities including Phyllis McGuire, Howard Hughes, Steve Wynn, Oscar and Carolyn Goodman, Shecky Greene, and The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers have taken up homes in the neighborhood in the past.

The iconic artist passed away last year in August at the age of 91. He was one of the most celebrated comedians of his era with his most memorable works coming alongside his longtime comic partner, Dean Martin. With Martin, Lewis rose to fame by starring in a nightclub act in 1946.

He later began to write, direct as well as act in several movies after separating with Martin in 1956. The Sad Sack, The Ladies Man, The Bellboy, and The Nutty Professor remains some of his most memorable works.

He was even nominated for Nobel Peace Prize in 1977 for his work with the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
