Ellen Pompeo melts hearts with photos of son Eli, 1, and daughter Sienna, 3, in Italy

The actress’ photos delighted fans who loved seeing what her two youngest children were up to in Florence. Eli and Sienna are seen indulging in Italian cuisine and both seem to be enjoying it very much.

Celebritist learned from “Instagram” that the 48-year-old “Grey’s Anatomy” star first shared a photo of 3-year-old Sienna. The little girl takes the task of eating gelato very seriously.

“What people don't know is I took my bodyguard to Florence with me.... she's fierce and yes a legend and yes takes her gelato very seriously photo credit @hellmannsam.”

The second pic shows Eli slurping up pasta while still taking the time to grin for the camera.

Fans loved seeing the two kids having fun and commented favorably on Ellen's photos.

Older sister Stella, 8, was also part of the family getaway in Italy.

The adorable photos of Eli and Sienna follow after Ellen’s update on Instagram that her handbag was stolen shortly after arriving in the city.

“My purse was stolen from right under my nose!! I blame the rosé!!”

She continued the update by stating that her handbag was found, intact. Ellen said that should she have caught the thief, things wouldn’t have ended well.

“My purse was stolen from right under my nose!! I blame the rose!! But Grazia to whoever stole it for dropping it on the street exactly i tact. I was tracking my phone and chasing you down... had I caught you... it would not have ended well for you... I am nice but lets not forget my heritage...”

Ellen is one of the highest paid television actresses. Her screen debut was in the television series “Law & Order”, and after numerous other television and film appearances, she was cast as Dr. Meredith Grey in “Grey’s Anatomy”. She and producer Chris Ivery met each other in a grocery store in 2003 and married in 2007.
