Jenna Johnson posts new engagement photo from her special day with Val Chmerkovskiy

The dancers got engaged while on vacation together, and have shared plenty of wonderful photos of their trip together.

Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy of Dancing With The Stars recently embarked on a European holiday, and while away Chmerkovskiy decided to pop the question to his girlfriend.

A week after they became engaged, the couple flew back home to the United States. While boarding the plane, Johnson took to Instagram to share a lovely image of herself and her beloved, to mark the amazing memories of their trip.

Along with the image, she shared a caption about the incredible trip they had just completed together, and marveled at the new memories that they had made in Europe this time around.

"Sitting on the plane, about to take off and I can’t help but look back at this beautiful whirlwind of a trip. Exactly a week ago today I said YES to my best friend and love of my life. I’m so grateful to be his.cEurope, once again you’ve given me memories I will hold onto forever. Thank you universe for LOVE! And for the ability to travel and experience incredible cultures and countries. America, I’ll see you soon," she wrote.

The image is actually from the night that Chmerkovskiy proposed to Johnson.

She was wearing a short white wrap dress on the occasion with a pair of strappy gold heels, and had her hair tied in a low bun at the base of her neck. He wore a pair of black trousers, a white button-down shirt, and a grey blazer.

They looked completely happy as they posed in front of a mirror, with Chmerkovskiy's arm around his new fiancee.

The couple started their journey in Amsterdam, and got engaged while they traveled through Italy. They also made a stop over in Greece on their travels. They returned to Amsterdam to fly back to the United States.

Johnson has spent plenty of time on the trip posting photos and stories to her social media accounts to keep her fans in the loop, including one showing off the impressive sparkler on her finger.

By contrast, Chmerkovskiy has been a bit more reserved in his social media sharing.
