Vanessa Williams stuns in tight one shoulder dress in photo with husband on their anniversary

Actress and singer Vanessa Williams, best known for Desperate Housewives, took to Instagram to share a photo of herself and her husband on their anniversary.

The image portrayed the couple wearing very elegant ensembles in the balcony of the Pearl Street Grill & Brewery restaurant. She was wearing a tight, one shoulder, white dress while her husband, Jim Skrip, chose a navy suit with a red tie.

For the caption, Williams wished Skrip a happy third anniversary, which took place on July 4 (Independence Day). As soon as she uploaded that photo, her fans and followers took to the comment section to share their thoughts.

One of them was Instagram user @cali_boho_chic, who admitted that the couple looked like teenagers on a prom date and wished them a happy anniversary.

According to Us Magazine, Williams and Skrip tied the knot on July 4, 2015. The ceremony was terrific and her wedding dress was the highlight of the entire day.

The Ugly Betty star chose a silk skirt and top by Carmen Marc Valvo and wore the pieces together belted with a wide gold band. Apart from that, Williams also put on a traditional wedding veil with her long hair down and straight.

Us Magazine revealed that the couple first met in Egypt during a 2013 vacation. One of the most exciting aspects about it is that both of them were born in New York and, until then, they hadn’t met.

Williams pointed out that aspect during an interview in 2014 saying that she went across the world to meet someone who has always been ‘six hours away’ from home.

In September 2014, the actress confirmed her engagement when she appeared on The Queen Latifah Show portraying her gorgeous diamond ring.

Skrip is Williams’ third husband as she was married to Ramon Hervey from 1987 to 1997 and former NBA player Rick Fox from 1999 to 2004.
