Wife of famous athlete speaks out after daughter's tragic death
Bode Miller‘s wife, Morgan Beck Miller, spoke up recently on the loss she suffered when her daughter, Emeline Grier drowned. She shared via social media that it had been 37 days since she held the little girl.
In her Instagram post, she captioned a picture of her daughter saying she hoped no other parent would suffer what she went through. She also revealed that drowning was a major cause of death for children below 4.
Morgan Beck Miller, 31, her husband, Bode Miller, lost their 19-month-old daughter, Emeline Grier after she drowned in a backyard pool accident. On Tuesday, Morgan shared a photo of her late daughter in the snow.
She also shared a heartfelt message to other parents urging them to speak more about preventing drowning. ‘It’s been 37 days since I’ve held my baby girl. I pray to God no other parent feels this pain,’ Morgan wrote.

In early June, Emeline drowned in a pool in the neighborhood of Coto de Caza, California. The Orange County Fire Department revealed at the time that paramedics performed CPR before transporting the little girl to a nearby hospital.
There they were unable to resuscitate her. Morgan and her husband married in 2012 and share two children together, including Emeline, there’s their 3-year-old son Nash Skan.
Bode is also a father to two children from previous relationships: son Samuel, 5, and daughter Neesyn, 10. Before the little girl’s death, the couple announced via Instagram that they were expecting their third child together.
