One of the Duggar boys from 'Counting On' just announced his engagement
John-David Duggar from Counting On is set to get married as he recently proposed to Abie Grace Burnett.
The engagement came just a month after the pair publicly announced their courtship.
In an exclusive report from Us Weekly, Duggar and Burnett said the proposal was a special moment for the both of them.
They shared, “The proposal and the ‘yes’ really solidified that we want to spend the rest of our lives together.”

The announcement was also posted on the family’s official website.
A short message came along with the big reveal which read, ‘They are a wonderful match and make a beautiful couple! Abbie is a lovely young woman, full of tenderness and compassion. She has a deep love for the Lord and we are so delighted that John-David has asked her to be his wife!’
In June 2018, when they revealed their courtship, 26-year-old shared how her relationship with 28-year-old Duggar blossomed.
She explained to Us Weekly that even though they have known each other for years, they “really got connected” when Duggar went to a church in Oklahoma, where Burnett was from.
Duggar revealed that they fell for each other almost immediately.
The family has been celebrating quite a few special moments recently.
On July 1st. Duggar’s younger brother, Josiah Duggar, was married to Lauren Swanson in Arkansas.
Josiah had announced that he was courting his then-girlfriend Lauren in January, and they became engaged in March 2018.
Also, Duggar previously helped in organizing the successful gender reveal party of her brother Joseph Duggar and his wife Kendra.
Fans would have to wait for more details, such as the newly-engaged couple’s wedding details, from the Duggar clan.
As for the show, a new season of Counting On is scheduled to premiere on July 30th at 9 p.m. EST on TLC.
