Snoop Dogg's last child, in recently shared photos, is looking every inch like a woman comfortable in her skin. Cori Broadus, or Choc as she's fondly called by her rapper dad, is also steadily building her reputation as a musical force to reckon with.

In the pictures, 18-year old Broadus is dressed for summer in her black tank top paired with black shorts. She completes the look with a long unbuttoned jacket, statement neckpiece, and trendy high-top sneakers. You also can’t miss the blonde hair and confident pose. One of her photos is accompanied with an important message for her followers:

“It’s hot af, stay hydrated everyone!!!”

“Still beautiful in all that heat,” Instagram user @applypressuremgmt responded.

Another apparent fan, @josh_taxi_ccc left a cheeky comment: “Ur the reason why it's so hott outside[sic]”

Broadus, like most celebrity kids, has had her fair share of struggles from growing up in the spotlight. The budding singer was diagnosed with Lupus at the age of 11 and did not get the privilege of going through her health issues privately. Recently, she also had to address relationship rumors linking her with “best friend,” rapper EZ.

Worse still, she was introduced to the ugly world of body-shaming as a young child when trolls would call her mean names because of her skin color. Broadus confessed that she only just started accepting and loving her dark skin.

All the negativity has helped shape her into an advocate for self-love and acceptance. Today, her Instagram page is filled with inspiring posts aimed at assisting people to see why they need to be happy with themselves.

Proving that she’s not destined to live in her famous father’s shadow, Choc is gradually making a name for herself in the music industry, thanks to her incredible voice. She released her first single, “Same,” last May and followed with another, “New Phone, Who Dis”.
