James Van Der Beek reunited with his "Dawson's Creek" TV mom Mary-Margaret Humes
In 1998 every American teenager was watching a new series called "Dawson's Creek" and enjoying the fictional lives of the characters.
James Van Der Beek played the lead as Dawson Leery, and his fictional mother and father were played by Mary-Margaret Humes and John Wesley Shipp in the hit show that ran between 1998 and 2003.
In March 2018, the cast got together for the show's 20th anniversary but Humes and Shipp were not included or invited.
Now Humes' screen son has made it up to her in a sweet "mother and son" reunion, and she shared that special moment on Instagram.
‘Okay, so let me get this off my chest as the initial hurt has subsided just a bit...’
