'DWTS' stars Alexas Ren and Alan Bersten respond to dating rumors

Rumors of a romance between the influencer and her dancing pro partner grew stronger following Season 27’s Disney Night on October 22 when the chemistry between them caught much attention.

On October 22 episode of “Dancing with the Stars” 21-year-old model and Internet personality Alexis Ren and her pro partner, 24-year-old Alan Bersten lived a night filled with emotions, and all eyes were focusing on their relationship.

Although the pair performed an impeccable Pocahontas-themed foxtrot and received the best score, the underlying subject that surrounded them was whether or not they had grown romantic feelings towards one another.

Following a pre-show package on which the possible affair between Ren and Bersten took center stage, ET approached the pair to directly ask them about the nature of their relationship.

"I mean, we're just, we're just so happy to be here and like I love him so much and I love his energy so much and we've been so focused on the competition," answered Ren, neither confirming nor denying the rumors.

“I feel like the experience is once in a lifetime and we’re just making the most of it and really just going out there and having fun,” said Bersten, once again avoiding the topic.

During the episode, show hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews and some of the judges made several references to the couple’s special chemistry, and the partners were even asked if they were heading towards a romance.

“I’m not answering that. I can barely get through Mondays! Again, we’re taking it one day at a time here.”

The ambiguity both Ren and Bersten showed when addressing the rumor of their alleged romance was enough for their fans to lose their minds in social media, where they shared their hopes about the pair becoming an item.

“Please let Alexis and Alan be a couple I totally ship it,” wrote Twitter user “Spooky Rebecca.” “Y’all. Alexis’ thumb stroking on Alan’s arm in that final pose. I screamed. They really would be such a cute couple,” tweeted @Jen_naaay.

Despite all the signs of a growing affection between these partners that goes beyond the competition, it can’t be ruled out that the entire thing could be a publicity stunt.

Nevetheless, the fact that Ren recently broke up with her longtime boyfriend makes it all more plausible for a love connection between the partners to develop into a full-scale romance.

It wouldn’t be the first time when two members of the popular dance competition fall in love with each other. On March 25, 2018, pro dancers Emma Slater and Sasha Farber became husband and wife in a magical celebration.

Aside from family and friends, some personalities from Dancing With The Stars also attended the ceremony, such as Drew Scott and Cheryl Burke, Nick and Vanessa Lachey, and Julianne Hough, who took her husband, Brooks Laich, with her.
