Less than a month after revealing the real reason behind her exit from modeling, Iman Bowie proved that she’s still very much in the game, posing up a storm on the red carpet in NYC.

Iman looked flawless in a flamboyant floor-length pink gown as she attended the Elton John AIDS Foundation's 17th Annual “An Enduring Vision” Benefit on Monday night.

The haute couture piece showed off the supermodel’s svelte frame and accentuated her hourglass curves.

Iman was a sight to behold as she stepped out on the red carpet with the extra-puffy shoulder detailing on her dress providing a dramatic effect. The design cascaded down her back, resembling an inflated cape.

The raised V-neckline also framed Iman’s face and an intricate folded detailing across the bust added to the glam of the dress.

ONCE A SUPERMODEL...

Ever the glamorous one, the 63-year-old wore her hair laid down in an old Hollywood finger wave style and chose nude makeup, save for a dramatic smokey eye. A glittering diamond ring and matching bangles were Iman’s jewelry choice for the night.

In photos posted to her Instagram page, the wife of the late music legend David Bowie, also posed with Elton and his husband, David Furnish. Iman wrote in the caption:

“Honored to have attended and supported the Elton John AIDS Foundation Fall Gala @ejfdn last night in custom @zacposen gown honoring Patricia Hearst, Joe McMillan & Darren Walker.

Hosted by Gayle King, Performance by Sheryl Crow and special remarks by Bryan Stevenson: Founder & Executive Director of the Equal Justice Initiative (EJI) and The National Memorial for Peace and Justice in Montgomery, Alabama.”

WHY SHE GAVE UP MODELING

Last month, Iman sat down to an interview with Net-A-Porter and spoke about everything from coping with the loss of her late husband to the reason why she left the modeling scene many years ago.

Spoiler: it had something to do with fellow supermodels Naomi Campbell and Cindy Crawford.

Iman revealed:

“The philosophical answer is that I knew that there was no more that I could do, and I needed to walk away in order to start something new. The less philosophical truth was that I had Linda and Naomi and Christy and Cindy behind me, and they were going to push me out anyway, so I had to leave with grace.”

LOSING HER HUSBAND

The “Iman Cosmetics” founder also opened up about her grief following her husband’s surrender to liver cancer in 2016. While confessing that she’s only “trying to keep it together,” Iman is also doing her best to keep their 18-year-old daughter Alexandria out of the public eye. She has an older daughter from a previous marriage, but Iman has vowed to “never remarry.”

The Somali-American beauty and her late husband were so private that they never spoke about each other during interviews, but since Bowie’s death, Iman has been sharing never-before-seen photos of their life, especially on significant days.

Earlier in April, on what would have been their 26th wedding anniversary, Iman shared a photo from their 1992 wedding in Switzerland where her husband lifted her in his arms. She captioned the photo:
