Christina Milian's daughter flaunts her blue braids in selfie with mom, showing their resemblance

Singer and actress Christina Milian recently took to Instagram and shared a pair of beautiful pics of her daughter Violet flaunting her new hairstyle.

The 8-year-old girl is Christina’s twin, according to fans. Milian’s daughter with ex-husband "The Dream" is growing up fast.

Whenever she’s not into acting, dancing or baking classes, the adorable girl loves to pose with her famous mom in sweet family portraits.

Two of their most recent pics shared to Instagram shows the girl rocking blue braids and acid washed t-shirt while sticking out her tongue and making a kissy face to the camera.

She posed right next to her mom, who was wearing a blue sweater, showing their uncanny resemblance.

“M Y • G I R L • M Y • W O R L D,” Milian captioned the pic on her account, while she wrote “Can’t stop Won’t stop #TeamUs” on Violet’s.

Fans took over both comment sections to gush about the mother-daughter duo and their beauty, with most of them agreeing that Violet looks like Christina’s twin.

“Great photo. Lil' momma's hair is beautiful,” wrote one fan.

Another added, “Wow xtina she is a beauty !!!! Can’t believe how grown up she is!!” and a third one chimed in to say “Violet looks just like you Tina.”

MOM APPROVED INSTAGRAM

Earlier this year, on a visit to “The Rachael Ray Show,” Milian revealed that while her daughter’s Instagram account has almost 100k followers, the girl is not in touch with any of them, because Christina is the one running the account.

"I run her Instagram, so Violet's never run her Instagram," she said. "So this is mom-approved." And continued:

"I sincerely did it because on my own Instagram; I tend to put family pictures here and there, but also sometimes, I have a different audience. And a lot of the times, fans would make up their own [Instagram accounts for Violet]. So I thought it was kind of weird that other people had it and that I didn't save her name for her on Instagram.”

RAISING A GIRL PROUD OF HER ROOTS

Milian also admitted that while she does let her daughter play around with her phone, iPad or other devices, she also makes sure to get Violet involved in other activities to help her develop her talents.

She’s currently in dance and acting classes, and even told her mom she wanted to try going to auditions.

But Milian is making the girl focus on her education first, while teaching her everything she would need to know to survive in the entertainment industry, in case she wants to follow her steps.

Part of those lessons relies on Christina teaching Violet to embrace her Cuban and African American roots.

“She loves Cuban music and salsa dancing. She can wiggle those little hips!” said the House of Fine Gold founder.

She also taught Violet to be proud of her curly hair by complimenting her and showing her the beauty in it.

MORE KIDS IN THE FUTURE

And while Violet remains Christina’s priority in life, the 37-year-old star admitted to Life & Style magazine that she’s ready to give marriage another try and have more kids in the future.

“I definitely want to have more kids. And I would love to get married again, too, especially to somebody that I love and that's open and wants to do it. Sure, they can spring the ring on me anytime!”

Milian has been dating French pop star Matt Pokora for more than a year now, and the man has been praised by Milian’s fans for being a dotting paternal figure on Violet’s life, even though the girl has an incredible relationship with her dad, "The Dream."

For Christina it was essential to maintain a friendship with her ex-husband, even if their relationship didn’t work, they share Violet’s custody, and it was in the girl’s best interest that they remained close.

“The most important things is our daughter,” she reassured viewers on “The Real” months ago.
