Gabrielle Union shares adorable close-up video of her & Dwyane Wade's 2-week old daughter

Gabrielle Union, the actress and wife of NBA professional player Dwyane Wade, took to Instagram to share a short video of the couple’s daughter showing the process of sleeping.

The clip has three sections. In the first one, baby Kaavia James appeared wrapped in a white and grey blanket with a pacifier in front of her. She was very active as her arms and head wouldn’t stop moving.

For the second part of the recording, Kaavia was a lot calmer, and her eyes were barely open. Gabrielle made sure to cover her head with the blanket and, after looking at her mother’s hand for a second, the baby’s eyes closed almost entirely.

In the third section, Kaavia was already asleep while wrapped in a different blanket. In the background of the video, Gabrielle added Eurythmics “Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)” to give it an authentic and fun touch.

For the caption, the actress wrote, “We all need this sweet goodness. Sweet Dreams folks.” As soon as she uploaded that clip, her followers took to the comment section to share their thoughts.

Most of them thanked Gabrielle for uploading such a beautiful aspect of their lives, while others pointed out that Kaavia looked very similar to her father, especially for her long fingers.

Gabrielle and Dwyane welcomed their little bundle of joy on November 7 after years of trying to conceive. Their “miracle baby” was born via surrogate. The actress suffered multiple miscarriages and failed IVF attempts in the past, what prompted the couple to turn to surrogacy.

While the birth of the baby was a big milestone in the couple’s life, several people have wondered why they chose “James” as her middle name. Some said that it was because of NBA player LeBron James, who played with Dwyane for a long time, but Gabrielle took to Instagram to tell the truth.

“Great question. We wanted my family represented in her name. My godfather is my Uncle James Glass. She is named after him.. and then Union… that’s… ya know… me [sic],” revealed the actress.

Apart from Kaavia, Gabrielle is the step-mother to Dwyane's three sons named Zaire, Zion, and Xavier.
