Ray J steals hearts with video of baby Melody smiling bright while trying to talk in precious video
Ray J is a dad in love as he keeps sharing pics and videos of his baby girl, Melody, on social media. His wife, on the other hand, vowed to never again post Melody on her Instagram after reading some of the hateful comments people left for the baby.
Melody Norwood melted hearts in a recent video shared by Ray J on Christmas day. In the short clip, the adorable girl is resting on her mother’s lap wearing a white onesie, a matching bib and two ponytails, as her father makes entertains her with a Mickey Mouse plushie.
Ray J can be heard singing to the opening song of Disney’s “Mickey Mouse’s Clubhouse” in a silly voice, and Melody was amused, as she starts giggling and kicking while trying to reach for the plushie.
“Oh toodles!! @melodylovenorwood #mickeymousechristmas I love her soooooo much,” the reality star and singer captioned the video.
Fans took over the comment section to gush about little Melody too.
“@oyflemmingauthor: Omg! She is so cute! This video is adorable.”
“@prettypooh46: Omg she is such a doll baby! She gets more beautiful as she grows. @princesslove and @rayj make gorgeous babies.”
“@cameliajay: I gave her "2018 Baby of The Year", and she's still reigning. No offense to anyone.”
SECURING MELODY’S FUTURE
Melody is the first child of Princess Love and Ray J, and the couple has always been open about how excited they were for having a baby. The now seven-months-old girl was born two weeks ahead of Father’s Day, and Ray J made sure to celebrate by releasing a song and music video dedicated to her.
“The song was actually written 13 years ago. When I initially wrote it, it was about music, but after having my daughter, I realize it describes the way I feel about my daughter, so I dedicated it to her. I love music, and I want to get back to making sure it has a positive meaning,” he told Rolling Out.
But while he keeps working to release new music after 13 years, Ray J is also making sure to “secure the bag” for his daughter with his technology company, Raycon, which had a significant growth this year.
“Music will always be my first love, but it was time to diversify into something that had the ability to really create a financial legacy. Raycon has grown so much from when we introduced the first Scoot-E bike. We have wireless earphones, smart watches, speakers and so much more,” he said of the company.
PRINCESS LOVE’S INSTAGRAM RESOLUTION
And while Ray J is unbothered by what people might say of his baby on social media, his wife doesn’t have that same tough skin.
Princess Love announced a few weeks ago that after reading some of the “disgusting” comments people leave under photos of her daughter, she would stop sharing Melody’s pics on Instagram. “Never again,” she stated.
And to prove she’s not wrong about the unnecessary comments, people slammed her for buying a Ferrari toy car for Melody on her first Christmas. Some people believe it makes no sense for Melody to have a car when she can’t even hold her head up yet.
However, Princess was fast to clap back, telling a follower to shut up and disabling the comment section on her account as she kept sharing more pics of the gift.
